1) Summary (Read This First)
We want you to love your purchase. If you don’t, here’s how returns work:
- 30-day return window for most items (refund or exchange).
- Free return shipping — we send you a pre-paid, trackable label (Royal Mail, DPD, Evri, or similar).
- 7-day refund processing after your return is received and inspected.
- No restocking fees.
- 14-day statutory right to cancel under UK law still applies.
2) Your Statutory Right to Cancel (UK Consumers)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have:
- 14 days from receiving your item to cancel your order, and
- 14 additional days to return it.
We will refund:
- 100% of the item price,
- plus standard delivery costs (if you paid any).
Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
This is separate from our 30-day store policy.
3) Eligibility & Condition of Returns
To be eligible for a refund or exchange, items must be:
✔️ Unused and in resaleable condition
✔️ In original packaging
✔️ Complete with all accessories, fixings, and manuals
✔️ Returned using our pre-paid label or courier collection
Non-returnable items
(unless damaged, faulty, or incorrect):
- Personalised or made-to-order items
- Gift cards
- Items showing misuse, improper assembly, or damage not caused by transit/manufacturing
- Items returned without all components or accessories
⚠️ You may inspect items as you would in a shop. If they show signs of use, a deduction may be applied.
4) How to Start a Return — Step-by-Step
- Email us at returns@amy-edwards-home.co.uk Include:
- Order number
- Your full name
- Delivery postcode
- Reason for return
- Photos if damaged/faulty
- Receive RMA & Label We will send:
- Return authorisation (RMA)
- Pre-paid, trackable return label, or
- Courier collection details for bulky items
- Pack the item Use original packaging if possible. Include all parts and accessories.
- Send or hand over the parcel Drop off at the indicated carrier or be present for collection. Keep your tracking receipt.
- Refund or exchange After inspection (usually within 72 hours), we process your refund or exchange. Refunds take up to 7 days, plus your bank’s clearing time.
5) Faulty, Damaged or Not-as-Described Items
If your item arrives:

❌ Not as described
Email returns@amy-edwards-home.co.uk within 48 hours and include:
- Photos or videos
- Order number
- Description of the issue
We will:
- Send replacement parts,
- Replace the item, or
- Issue a full refund.
Return shipping is always free for issues covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
6) Exchanges
You can exchange an item within 30 days for another size, colour, or model.
- Exchanges are free.
- Any price difference will be charged or refunded accordingly.

7) Change of Mind Returns
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days.
- Return shipping is free

8) Cancelling an Order
Orders are processed quickly. If you need to cancel:
- Email contact@amy-edwards-home.co.uk immediately.
If the order has already been dispatched, you may still return it within 30 days.

⚠️ Do not send items back without receiving RMA instructions — some items must be returned to a designated returns hub or collected by courier.
10) Refund Timelines & Method
- Refunds processed within 7 days of receiving the return.
- Always issued to the original payment method.
- Banks may take an additional 3–5 working days to credit the funds.
Cash-on-delivery (COD) returns are not accepted.
11) Late or Missing Refunds
If your refund is delayed:
- Check with your bank.
- Check your card provider’s processing times.
