This Warranty Policy explains the coverage, duration, conditions, and claims process for items purchased from our store.
1) Legal Warranty (Statutory Rights) — ALWAYS INCLUDED
All purchases are automatically covered by your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.
This means:
✔ Your product must be:
- of satisfactory quality
- fit for purpose
- as described
- durable for a reasonable amount of time
If a product is faulty:
- Within 30 days → you have the right to a full refund.
- Within 6 months → we must repair or replace it; if unsuccessful, you may claim a refund.
- After 6 months → you may still claim repair/replacement (burden of proof may apply).
These rights apply regardless of any additional warranty provided.
2) Manufacturer’s Warranty (Where Applicable)
Some products sold on our website may include a warranty provided directly by the manufacturer (e.g., appliances, tools, furniture frames).
- Duration and coverage vary depending on the brand and product type.

3) Amy Edwards Home Limited Warranty (Store Warranty)
For all eligible items not covered by a manufacturer warranty, we provide a 12-month limited store warranty covering:

✘ Water damage, mould, or environmental exposure
4) What Is Covered?
Depending on the product type, warranty coverage may include:

- Structural frame defects
- Loose joints

Home décor & accessories
- Electrical defects (where applicable)
- Broken parts not caused by misuse
- Faulty hardware

5) What Is Not Covered?

Other exclusions:

7) Resolution Options
If your claim is approved, we will offer one of the following:

✔ Full refund (when repair/replacement is not possible)

8) Warranty Period
- Standard warranty: 12 months from the delivery date
- Manufacturer warranty: as specified by the brand
- Statutory rights: valid beyond 12 months depending on expected product lifespan
9) Items Not Eligible for Warranty
- Clearance or “Final Sale” items
- Items showing signs of misuse or unauthorised repair
- Damage caused after delivery by the customer
- Wear-and-tear such as cosmetic scratches, fabric pilling, or loose upholstery
10) Transport Damage
If your item arrives damaged:

This is required for courier insurance claims.
11) No Charge for Approved Warranty Repairs
If your warranty claim is accepted:

✔ Parts are free
